Immediate Life Support 

Immediate Life Support was developed by Resuscitation Council UK for healthcare professionals who may have to act as the first responder in an emergency, giving them the skills to manage patients in cardiac arrest until the cardiac arrest team arrives.

Approved Courses 

RCUK accredited courses provide assurance that: 

  • All course resources and manuals have been expertly written by national and international experts and quality assured. 
  • Course content is mapped to the training curriculum for speciality trainees. 
  • Qualifications are recognisable, transferable, and valid. 
  • RCUK’s instructors are specially trained and qualified to equip staff with the essential skills to care for deteriorating patients or those having a cardiac arrest.
